All the characters in the film are somehow inter-related to one another. Prejudice refers to making a judgment or assumption about someone or something before having enough knowledge to be able to do so with guaranteed accuracy. A district attorney and his wife was car jacked by two African Americans and wanted to be safe from now own. So to hold their idea accountable they changed all the locks in their house with new ones. The Hispanic locksmith coincidentally was there to do perform the job. The district attorney wife busted out that she wanted to get the extra key sets from the worker because she had told herself that he would give the keys to his other Hispanic friends and they would break in the house.
